Meet our Elders

Grace Bible Fellowship is led by elders who shepherd, teach, preach, and guard the flock of Jesus Christ.

Grace Bible Fellowship currently has only one Pastor/Elder, Craig Lofthus. Our prayer and desire is that, in God’s timing, we will have a plurality of local elders. We believe that the Bible teaches a plurality of local elders should serve the local church (Acts 14:23; 20:17; Titus 1:5; 1st Peter 5:1, 2). Until that time, we have qualified men who have offered to serve as Elder Advisors. These men continue to be a source of wisdom, counsel, and accountability. Much as the Apostle Paul served as a source of wisdom, counsel, and accountability for multiple churches, these men graciously and faithfully serve GBF.

Craig Lofthus, Pastor/Elder

Craig has served as an elder at Grace Bible Fellowship since its inception in 2018. He holds a BA degree in Communication from Seattle Pacific University (1991), an MA in Biblical Counseling (2011), and an MDiv from Trinity Theological Seminary (2013). Since 2007, Craig has been a certified, Biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), and the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC).

Craig married his high school sweetheart (Sharon) in 1991 and together they have 5 adult children with 12 grandchildren at last count. When given the opportunity, Craig enjoys speaking at various ACBC and church conferences around the Pacific Northwest and is an enthusiastic advocate of Biblical counseling. He believes whole-heartedly in the sufficiency of God’s Word in the life of a Believer (Colossians 2:9, 10).
